New season, new voices - Season 3 of the Teach NSW Podcast has landed

Welcome back to Season 3 of the Teach NSW Podcast! Created by teachers, for teachers, the podcast celebrates the passion, innovation and dedication that shapes public education across NSW, and this season is no exception.
Joining us on the couch are new co-hosts, Katie and Maddie, two passionate NSW public school teachers, eager to spotlight the incredible work happening every day within the NSW Department of Education. From classroom experiences to broader system-wide conversations, tune in as they explore the stories, learnings and successes of teachers and leaders at the heart of education in NSW.
Season 3 kicks off with 2 exciting episodes:
Episode 1 introduces our new co-hosts Katie and Maddie and explores their experiences in NSW public schools. Together they discuss the differences and surprising similarities between primary and secondary teaching, and reflect on the importance of collaboration and mentorship in schools.
In Episode 2, we’re joined by Kate Livio, a Year 7 transition teacher with 25 years of experience across regional and remote NSW public schools. Kate shares her approach to design thinking, highlighting how authentic, real-world learning experiences can deepen student engagement.
Episode 3 features Joanne Jarvis, Executive Director of the School Leadership Institute. Joanne shares her journey into executive leadership, highlighting how teachers and leaders can create positive and supportive learning environments.
