SLSO Student health support (SHS)

One of the outcomes of the 2019 NSW School Administration and Support (SAS) Staff Award review was the implementation of a new classification, school learning support officer (SLSO) student health support (SHS). The main focus of this role is the performance of health support as required so that students can participate in and access educational programs.

Use of funds

Funding is to pay for all identified SLSO (SHS) ongoing positions at their higher rate of pay compared to SLSO generalist positions.
