The Trade Pathways for Experienced Workers program addressed skills shortages by establishing pathways to trade qualifications. The program supported training providers to offer recognition of prior learning (RPL) and gap training to experienced workers across 56 trade qualifications.

This program is fully funded until June 2024. It is closed to new enrolments.

Free training

Qualifications completed through the program were subsidised by the NSW Government.

Transferable skills

Eligible trade workers were able to have their trade experience recognised while developing new skills.

Qualified trade workers

The program helped organisations upskill their workforce, address skill shortages and meet industry demand. As part of the program, employees could fast-track their industry experience to trade qualifications.
