Schools are surveyed annually to gather information on the number of students studying Agriculture, Agricultural Technology Years 7-10, Agriculture Stage 6 and the Primary Industries VET course.

The funding arrangements for the teaching and learning of agriculture are based on:

  • funding allocated predominantly for Stage 5 and 6 agriculture electives and Primary Industries to support the operation of the agriculture plot as a teaching and learning resource
  • the equitable distribution of funds based on a formula related to student numbers in elective agriculture classes
  • the availability of funds for the on-going maintenance of equipment items, such as the teaching and learning tractor, used in the teaching and learning of agriculture subjects, especially those where safety is a concern.

Please arrange for completion of this online survey form by close of business on Friday 4 September 2020. This should be completed by the Principal in collaboration with the SAM and Agriculture Teacher(s).

The information submitted will be used to calculate schools' agricultural grant entitlements for 2021. Successful schools will be notified via the 2021 School Budget Allocation Report (SBAR) Adjustments in March 2021.
