School Catalogue Information Service (SCIS) Subscription

Schools Catalogue Information Service (SCIS) provides schools with access to a database of consistent catalogue records created according to agreed national standards. The enrolment bands listed below indicate the cost of this service for NSW government schools in 2019. These are set by Education Services Australia. This bulk arrangement continues to provide significant savings to schools for SCIS services. For additional information contact: librarysupport@det.nsw.edu.au

An annual licence arrangement for student ambulance covers all NSW government schools. This means that for 2019, schools do not need to subscribe individually to the Ambulance Cover Scheme.

The Ambulance Cover Scheme provides assurance that if a student requires the ambulance service, whilst at school or on an organised school excursion or activity, the cost will be met through the Scheme.

Further information concerning the ambulance cover arrangements will be published in SchoolBiz during February 2019. Frequently asked questions can be found on the Ambulance Cover webpage.

Please contact your local WHS Consultant or the Health and Safety Directorate on 1800 811 523 (Option 6) if you require any further support or information.
