Aeroskills – Certificate II
This qualification covers the skills and knowledge required to repair and overhaul a limited range of aircraft electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electro-hydraulic and electro-pneumatic components.

This qualification applies to employees in aviation maintenance workshops. Jobs involve assisting with maintenance, inspection and fault diagnosis on a limited range of electrical, electronic, instrument and radio systems, components and parts on aircraft. You may be required to perform repair and overhaul tasks on a limited range of aircraft electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electro-hydraulic and electro-pneumatic components, or to perform simple repairs on a limited range of structural components.

- Certificate II in Aeroskills MEA20418 in MEA Aeroskills Training Package
- Advanced standing into the aircraft maintenance sector of the Aviation industry
- Credit towards higher level Aeroskills qualifications
Course delivery
- Both on the job and off the job and can be delivered face-to-face, flexibly or mixed mode
- The SBT term is calculated in months from the date of commencement to 31 December of the HSC year
Commitment required
- Undertake a minimum of 100 days in paid employment and training.
- Undertake Certificate II Aeroskills course as part of your HSC.
- The employment and training can be undertaken during school time, after school and during school holidays.

This optional course recognises the significant work component involved in the school based apprenticeship. The course offers an additional 4 units credit towards your HSC. This HSC VET course does not contribute towards the calculation of the ATAR. |
