Targeted support to help early school leavers under the age of 17 transition from school and complete their first course at TAFE NSW.

The TAFE NSW early school leavers initiative is designed to support students who plan to finish their schooling at a TAFE NSW campus.

Initiative activities include:

• Regular check-ins with a dedicated Student Support Officer
  
• Student scholarships to assist with day-to-day study needs including the purchase of necessary equipment (eg. laptops, PPE, tools)
• Tutorial courses to support literacy and numeracy development (optional)
• Support services such as career counselling, Aboriginal or disability student support (as needed)
