Do your students ever get stuck on how to prepare a resume when applying for their first job? We sit down with Julie Toaetolu, Careers Adviser from Campbelltown Performing Arts High School, who shares her tips.
We also meet three students who are using their school-based traineeships to set themselves up for three very different career paths. Billy from Liverpool Boys High School has impressed his employer at Peter Warren Automotive, with a full-time apprenticeship on offer once he completes year 12. We then head to South Grafton High School and chat to Patrick, a born farmer and Tia, a talented artist, who are both learning the practical skills they need to pursue their passions.
