Rose Bay PS resumes operations Tuesday 16 June

Rose Bay Public School has been thoroughly cleaned and will resume operations after a before and after school care provider tested positive to COVID-19.

As advised late Friday, 12 June 2020, a provider from our before and after school care service has tested positive to COVID-19.

Rose Bay Public School has been thoroughly cleaned and will resume operations tomorrow, Tuesday 16 June 2020.

The NSW Department of Education and NSW Health have been working closely to ensure the health and safety of all students and staff is maintained. This work has included identifying close contacts of the confirmed case and communicating directly with them regarding their requirement to self-isolate.

The school will continue to be vigilant in implementing the department’s infection control procedures, including daily cleaning in accordance with normal protocols, the promotion of healthy hygiene habits and will make hand sanitiser available for staff and students to use while at school. The Rose Bay before and after school care service will remain non-operational for the remainder of this week.

The safety and wellbeing of our staff and students is of paramount importance to us at all times. As such we will continue to work closely with NSW Health to ensure that all necessary health advice is adhered to.

Further information on COVID 19 is available on NSW Health website. If you have any education-related questions please contact 1300 338 679 (1300 EDU NSW).
