Camden High School will be non-operational for on-site learning tomorrow as a Year 7 student has tested positive for COVID-19.

Camden High School will be non-operational for on-site learning tomorrow Friday 26 June 2020. All students will undertake at-home learning tomorrow. The department has been advised by NSW Health that a Year 7 student has tested positive for COVID-19.

The school will be non-operational for the on-site attendance of staff and students tomorrow to allow for contact tracing to occur. The school will be cleaned prior to school resuming.

The school will continue to support students with at-home learning arrangements while the school site is non-operational. Learning materials are available online through the department’s Learning from home site.

NSW Health has requested anyone who has been unwell or has flu-like symptoms to be tested at one of the COVID-19 clinics. Only students who are unwell with a fever or respiratory symptoms such as a sore throat or cough need to be tested.

Further advice will be provided tomorrow advising when the school will resume on-site learning.
