More than 200 teachers will share their ideas at the department’s Parramatta state office.
Department of Education staff will gather tomorrow to focus on the statewide goal of ‘Every student is known, valued and cared for in our schools’ as part of an ongoing series of TeachMeet professional learning sessions.
The event, attended by the Secretary, Mark Scott, and Deputy Secretary, School Operations and Performance, Murat Dizdar, will consist of eight short presentations, with staff sharing programs and initiatives from their schools.
It is the first of the TeachMeets to take place at the department’s new headquarters at Parramatta, and will allow staff to collaborate on best practice in a teacher-driven communal discussion.
The TeachMeet tomorrow, 5 December from 4pm to 5:30pm, will be livestreamed on YouTube to schools across the state.
