Our space is your space these holidays

Through Share Our Space, public schools are able to offer local communities safe and open spaces to use during school holiday breaks.

As public schools across NSW shut down for the April holidays, many school gates will be thrown open to allow the general public to use the facilities.

The Share our space program will be operating in participating schools throughout the school holidays from Monday 5 April to Friday 16 April 2021, from 8.00am to 5.00pm, including public holidays.

Some schools have taken Share Our Space to the next level and will hold community gatherings and events in their school grounds, building even deeper links between the school and their local community.

Additional signage has been provided to remind visitors to maintain appropriate physical distancing and COVID safe hygiene practices. External cleaning services have also been provided to all participating schools throughout the holidays and at the end of the program.

The NSW Government is investing $7 billion over the next four years, continuing its program to deliver more than 200 new and upgraded schools to support communities across NSW.

This is the largest investment in public education infrastructure in the history of NSW.
