Your last chance to grab a front-row seat for the 2018 Schools Spectacular will happen Saturday night when Channel 7 broadcasts the show.

The broadcast at 7pm on Saturday, December 8, will also be a chance for show performers to see themselves in action for the first time.

The 2018 Schools Spectacular was The Greatest quite literally as the show paid tribute to some of the best music and theatrical shows of all time.

A 2800-strong choir, 2300 dancers and an 80-piece orchestra performed a range of pieces including an opening number from the Hugh Jackman film The Greatest Showman, a gladiator segment, and a tribute to Elton John.

More than 300 public schools participated in the event with students from public schools as far away as Ballina, Lightning Ridge and Norfolk Island taking part in the show.
