It was a party atmosphere at Kellyville Ridge Public School today as the school community defied the rain to join police and the school’s furry mascots in Walk to School Safely Day.
Principal Rhonda Gosman congratulated all the Kellyville Ridge students, families, and staff who took part in today’s Walk to School Safely Day.
“It was wonderful to see our school community out walking, enjoying our great local footpaths, and making healthy, active choices,” she said
“A special thank you to our local Police Constable Fenech for her support in keeping everyone safe, and to our amazing school mascots, Kelly and Ridge, who made a surprise visit to remind us how fun and important it is to walk safely every day!
“Let’s keep the momentum going; walking to school is a great way to stay healthy, protect the environment, and enjoy our beautiful neighbourhood.”
