Before she even sits for her Higher School Certificate, Condobolin High Year 12 student Bianca Levy can take pride in a remarkable achievement.

What a record . . . Bianca Levy has not missed a day of school for six years.

Bianca has completed the six years of high school without one day of absence, securing a 100% attendance record.

Condobolin High School Principal Jeff Ward believes Bianca’s record is a rare feat.

“It’s absolutely unbelievable,” Mr Ward said. “Bianca is an amazing young lady. She is very determined and puts her head down and goes for it.”

As her final days at school approach, Bianca is proud of what she has achieved.

“I feel really good having done it,” Bianca said. “Some days it was hard, but I decided to push through and make it 100%.”

Bianca believed there was more at stake than just the perfect record.

“I wanted to learn as much as possible,” she said.

“If you are at school you can learn as much as you can every day. And every day is a new experience.”

Next year Bianca, 19, hopes to secure veterinary work to fulfil her ambition of being a veterinary nurse.

Her favourite subjects at school are English, Agriculture and Primary Industries Studies.

While Bianca needed to be personally resolute and disciplined to attain her perfect attendance record, she also credits her year advisor, Melissa Hughes, and her other teachers with providing the encouragement and support that enabled her to maintain her level of engagement.
