Scholarships help students maximise opportunity

Applications are now open for 2020 Public Education Foundation scholarships to help students make the most of their world-class education.

Public Education Foundation scholarships allow students to overcome geographic, economic and social barriers to achieving in the classroom.

Time is running out for students across the state to apply for a 2020 scholarship from the Public Education Foundation, with applications for current Year 12 students closing on 27 August.

More than 1,000 students have received scholarships from the Public Education Foundation in the past 10 years. The awards are funded by the not-for-profit organisation with help from generous donors.

Students from Kindergarten to Year 12 are eligible to apply, with more than 20 scholarships helping students overcome barriers to learning because of economic, geographic and social factors.

Scholarship recipients are provided with financial and academic support to assist in making the most of their education.

Apply via the Public Education Foundation before:

  • 3 September (Tertiary Transition Scholarships)
  • 17 September (Secondary School Scholarships)
  • 24 September (Primary School Scholarships).
