Families will be able to enjoy summer in NSW public school grounds.

School Infrastructure NSW’s Share Our Space program will help families from across the state get active over the summer, with ovals, sports courts and playgrounds open for community use throughout the holidays.

Public schools across NSW are opening their gates as part of the program - from Mungindi Central School near the Queensland border to Candelo Public School near Victoria, to Lord Howe Island Central School, 600 kilometres off the east coast of mainland Australia and Palinyewah Public School in the far west.

Since the pilot program launched in summer 2017, Share Our Space has received widespread support in schools and local communities, with the number of schools taking part increasing by more than 500 per cent.

Participating schools are open between 8am-6pm from 22 December - 25 January, 7 days a week including public holidays.
