Quality Learning Environments Round 2
Community preschools are invited to submit applications for the second round of the Quality Learning Environments program, announced recently by Minister for Early Childhood Education Sarah Mitchell.
The boost of funding is the second instalment of the NSW Government’s Quality Learning Environments program, which was introduced earlier this year.
The Quality Learning Environments program is designed to help preschools improve their learning environments, contribute to inclusive, safe and supportive preschools and to support positive learning experiences and outcomes for children.
In the second round, grant applications can be made for funding to enhance the preschool’s physical environment through minor capital works and infrastructure items, or to support educational programs and practice like music lessons, dance classes or play activities
Grants of up to $15,000 (excluding GST) are now available to preschools that meet the eligibility criteria, application requirements and spending rules.
Full details, are available in the program guidelines. Applications should be submitted through SmartyGrants and must be completed by 9 November 2018.
