Maintenance of Teacher Accreditation Policy

From 1 January 2018 a new Maintenance of Teacher Accreditation Policy will be implemented. This will replace the current policies on maintaining accreditation for all NSW teachers and will be relevant to those early childhood teachers who are maintaining Proficient Teacher accreditation.

For further background, Maintenance 2018 and beyond information sessions are an opportunity for all teachers, including early childhood teachers, to find out more about accreditation in NSW. These short sessions will be offered both online and face-to-face in locations throughout NSW. Early childhood teachers can register to attend these free sessions.

Please contact NESA's Teaching Standards Early Childhood team on 1300 739 338 or by email at contactus@nesa.nsw.edu.au if you require further details.

More information can be found on NESA's website.

It is recommended that early childhood teachers stay updated regarding Teacher Accreditation by subscribing to NESA's regular e-newsletters.
