Young Achiever Award nominations are now open

Young Achiever Award nominations are now open

We all know a dedicated, quality early childhood educator under the age of 29 who is making a big difference in the community and children’s lives by improving their learning, development and wellbeing.

Nominating a young educator in the NSW/ACT 7NEWS Young Achiever Awards is your chance to highlight an extraordinary educator or teacher and their achievements in early childhood education.

Nominations for the 2020 awards are now open and will close on 1 November 2019.

The awards run across nine categories to acknowledge, encourage and promote the positive achievements of all young people in NSW and ACT under 29 years of age.

For the second year, the NSW Department of Education are once again sponsoring the Early Childhood Educator Award in 2020. The award acknowledges the achievements of professional early childhood educators in helping young children achieve their potential and fostering high educational outcomes.

Judging for the awards will be held on 11 December 2019, with the award ceremony being held at Doltone House on 20 March 2020.

With research showing a child’s experiences during the early years are building blocks from their future, why not nominate a hard working or inspirational colleague, friend or family member to highlight their contributions to giving children a brighter future.

For more information on the awards or to submit a nomination, visit the NSW/ACT Young Achiever Awards Website.

Nominations can also be made by calling the awards organisers on 1300 735 445 and passing on the details.
