Deadly Teachers - Solid Jarjums

Deadly Teachers - Solid Jarjums

The Department of Education is seeking Expressions of Interest (EOI) to deliver a new program in 2019: Deadly Teachers Solid Jarjums (Aboriginal Cultural Awareness, Perspectives and Pedagogy).

The EOI forms part of a multi-stage procurement process. Services should note that this is not a grants based funding initiative, but a request for providers and organisations interested in running the program in the respective regions.

The Deadly Teachers Solid Jarjums program will be delivered to Early Childhood Education services in NSW and has been developed to assist the sector in providing quality, culturally inclusive early education environments that support and expand on the strengths of Aboriginal children

Deadly Teachers Solid Jarjums will be run across four regions in NSW, and respondent(s) will be expected to deliver the program to a minimum of 20 services in the region.

Expressions of interest to deliver the program are now open.

Organisations are invited to submit Expressions of Interest (EOI) and show they have the capacity and capability to develop, implement and integrate the program in accordance with its core objectives.

Following the department’s evaluation of the EOIs, selected organisations will be sent a Request for Quote and asked to submit further details including budget estimates to deliver the program.

All applicants will need to register through the NSW Government’s E-Tendering platform and can download all documents and submit responses through this site.

Organisations are invited to submit an EOI application if you believe you have the capabilities to lead the implementation of this program. Alternatively if you know another organisation which may be interested, please encourage them to review and consider applying.

Expressions of interest can be submitted up until 15 February 2019.
