Review of the National Quality Framework to commence
With the early childhood sector growing ever stronger and more high performing, the NQF review process gets underway this month to provide an opportunity for feedback and input from the sector in practical terms.
The NQF was last reviewed in 2014, and the 2019 NQF Review aims to ensure that the NQF remains current, fit-for-purpose and aligned with best practice regulation. Sector feedback and input is vital to inform government decision making and improve outcomes under the NQF.
A dedicated website for the 2019 NQF Review will be launched in April, with notification of the launch date to come from ACECQA shortly. The website will provide detailed information, an online survey portal to collate feedback, and opportunities to register for updates as well as to book into the face-to-face consultation sessions which will be held across NSW during May and June 2019.
All services and stakeholders are encouraged to have their say online so that detailed feedback can be collated and incorporated into the review process.
Feedback sessions will be included as part of the May Sector Roadshow in NSW, with daytime and evening sessions to be held in each location – you can register through Eventbrite.
Further details about the NQF review process and opportunities to input will be provided in the coming weeks.
