2020 Review of the Disability Standards for Education
Have your say, public consultations are open on how well the Disability Discrimination Act 1992 is known and applied in early childhood education and care.
23 September 2020
The Australian Government Department of Education, Skills and Employment is undertaking a review of the Disability Standards for Education through a consultation process.
They want to hear from anyone with an interest in making sure children with disability can access and participate in early childhood education and care.
They are particularly interested in the experiences and views of families and carers, advocates and educators.
Public consultations will run until 25 September 2020.
There are a number of ways you can share your experiences, views and ideas to inform the Review. This includes specific engagement events about early childhood education and care.
Find out more about the ways you can engage by visiting the Australian Government website.
