The subsidy is available to eligible families in remote and very remote communities where their children attend a preschool program at a participating preschool.

The targeted per kilometre subsidy will offset part of the transport costs of driving children to participating preschools.

Application process

Eligible families with children enrolled in a participating preschool program must submit an application via Transport NSW.

Key dates

Applications must be submitted by either the:

• last day of Term 2 for semester one payments

• last day of Term 4 for semester 2 payments.
