Our Executive

The Executive’s key aim is to deliver Australia’s best performing education system, up there with the best in the world.

Members are as follows:

  • Deputy Secretary, Teaching, Learning and Student Wellbeing
  • Deputy Secretary, Early Childhood Outcomes
  • Deputy Secretary, Public Schools

  • Chief People Officer
  • Chief Executive Officer, School Infrastructure NSW.

The Executive meets weekly to make decisions and discuss strategic initiatives and programs and in doing so commits to:

  1. put children at the centre of all decision-making
  2. act with trust, respect and honesty
  3. deliver on promises with rigour and excellence.

The Executive is collectively responsible for:

  1. setting the direction for the department
  2. effective execution of the strategic priorities
  3. identifying and managing risks
  4. making Education a great place to work.
