Jobs to be done

The jobs to be done (JTBD) model gives us another way of looking at the content we're creating to make it more useful to our audience.

If we understand what jobs our audience (teachers, students, parents and carers) are trying to get done, we can gain a deeper understanding of their needs. This can lead to more innovative thinking and better design.

So, our JTBD must articulate our audience needs.

And, our content pillars must help to resolve some of those JTBD.

Parents and carers

To ensure education.nsw content is useful to our parents and carers audience, we have commissioned research to help us understand them better. The insights from this research have been turned into a JTBD framework under the overarching job of:

Help me best prepare my child for a rewarding life.
