Note: There is a one day delay in the Scout report.

For example, today’s non-attendance report will show records up to yesterday.

Designed for

The non-attendance patterns report is designed for school principals, Directors, Educational Leadership, and Business Managers. Users can quickly and easily view staff non-attendance patterns at a school for records over 21 days old.

  • The information displayed in the report is specific to each user:
  • Principals and Business Managers automatically view results for their own schools
  • DELs can select the name of a school to view from the drop-down list.


Benefits

How can I use this report?

A calendar function lets you quickly identify patterns of absence. You can also filter information by employee and employment level. Selections will be automatically updated in the table. Each column can be sorted and the information can be exported to a spreadsheet.

What should I look for?

The Non-attendance Patterns Report provides information on the:

  • number of staff members who have multiple non-attendance records over 21 days old
  • total number of non-attendance entries
  • length of time since the 21-day period was passed

Use the report

Make selections

Use the School Name drop-down menu at the top left of the report to select your school. A report for your chosen school is displayed.

View the non-attendance entries

This table shows the total non-attendance entries for employee/s. It can be exported as a spreadsheet.

Apply filters

The report allows filtering by employee name and employment level:

Total non-attendance entries as well as table values will change depending on your selected options.

A calendar function lets you identify patterns of non-attendance entries.

Action to take

Please contact staff members with a non-attendance record and ask them to submit a leave request.
