Premier's Teacher Scholarships

Twenty talented and inspirational teachers across government, non-government, TAFE and early childhood sectors have been recognised with a 2019 Scholarship

For almost two decades, the NSW Premier's Teacher Scholarships have played an important role in supporting teachers' professional development and delivering better outcomes for students.

Twenty scholarships with a total value of $260,000 were awarded for 2019 study tours, covering study areas such as the role of virtual reality in education, innovative technologies in languages, the impact of hearing loss on school-aged children, entrepreneurship and financial literacy.

"This scholarship program will help make our best and brightest teachers in the State even better," said Premier Gladys Berejiklian.

"It will help teachers prepare their students for their futures in a time of rapid social, economic and technological change."
